Bono Aligns With Springsteen in Fiery Dispute Against Donald Trump

President Donald Trump has often found himself in challenging situations, sometimes speaking impulsively without considering his words. An example of this is his comment about Bruce Springsteen, calling him a ‘dried out prune’. Clearly, there is tension between Trump and Springsteen. Many, like Bono from U2, have taken sides favoring Springsteen. Bono appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and stated, “There’s only one boss in America,” referencing Springsteen.

The conflict intensified when Springsteen criticized US leadership during his European tour in Manchester, calling it ‘corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous’. Trump responded angrily, calling Springsteen a ‘dried out prune of a rocker’ and warned of possible consequences upon his return to the US. Bono also addressed Trump’s social media attack, denying that U2 performed for any political candidate. He criticized Trump’s ‘Truth Social’ platform as ‘antiosocial’ and untruthful. Prior to 2016, Bono was concerned about the kind of country America would become under Trump’s leadership.
